Fishing Hotels on Deeside

When anglers come to Deeside to fish it is important to find a destination that provides you with the accommodation that suits your requirements. There are over 20 hotels who advertise on the FishDee website who look after visiting anglers. FishDee works with the accommodation providers and we try to get the service tailored to meet fisherman’s requirements provided they know it is fishermen that are coming to stay. We have an online survey looking to gather information to feedback to accommodation providers to see if we can provide better value for fishermen and good consistent levels of business for our advertisers. The survey can be accessed here and has some 6 questions looking for feedback

What we have managed to do with quite a number of hotels is obtain fisherman’s rates for groups of 3 or more anglers staying for 3 or more nights for bed and breakfast. Some of the highly acclaimed award winning hotels are willing to do this for as little as £60-£70 per night for an angler having a double room ! That’s very reasonable value for money however you choose to look at it-City centre prices in Aberdeen can be very high with a hotel this year offering a room on for £995 for one night. During the shoulder periods of spring and autumn we need to help these local hotel businesses to stay open where there are not a lot of mainstream tourists coming to Deeside. If you have time please take the survey which will help us feedback information to our advertisers. Its win -win for all of us if we work together.
