Grant Gibson lands personal best at Craigendinnie

I caught up with George Murray the amiable Ghillie at Craigendinnie for a chat. He advised me that visiting angler Grant Gibson landed a personal best salmon of 24lbs yesterday on the beat. He took the coloured male fish at the Upper Fontie pool on a Dee Monkey fished of a sink tip line to get the fly down. Craigendinnie is a very popular and pretty two rod beat that averages 132 salmon per season. The beat is currently managed by Glen Tanar Estate.
